  • 5:45 – 6:45 PM: Ages 7-12 (born 2014 and younger)
  • 6:45 – 7:45 PM: Ages 13-18 (born 2013 and older)

Larry Ryans, Jr.

  • He a ended Clemson University on a football and track Scholarship

  • Larry has been training athletes for athletic excellence across sports since 2000. Numerous athletes with distinguished careers throughout the professional and amateur ranks. In the last year his athletes collected 4 national titles, 2 national records, 4 All Americans, along with 2 state championships. 
  • Larry most recently was a sprint and hurdle coach at IMG Academy for the 6 years (2019-2025) 
  • Larry is USATF Level 1 certified

Monique Thompson

Sprints

Monique Thompson is a former elite sprinter from Trinidad and Tobago who represented her country internationally from the age of 14. She competed in the 60m, 100m, 200m, and relay events, placing 8th in the world in the 100m at the World Youth Championships at just 15 years old.

She went on to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the 2009 World Championships in Berlin as part of the national relay team. Monique earned a scholarship to Louisiana State University, where she competed from 2005–2009, racing at the highest level of NCAA competition earning All SEC honors while continuing her international career.

Kalen Graham

Throws

Kalen Graham is a former NCAA Division I track and field athlete and accomplished throws coach with elite-level competitive experience and a passion for developing athletes. Graham competed for the University of Central Florida (UCF) Women’s Track and Field team from 2011 to 2016, where she specialized in the throws and competed at the highest levels of collegiate athletics.

During her career at UCF, Graham qualified for NCAA Championship competition and earned All-American honors, establishing herself as one of the top collegiate throwers in the country. Her experience competing at the NCAA Division I level provides her with firsthand knowledge of the technical, physical, and mental demands required to succeed in elite competition. Graham Earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors (2015) and was a consistent top performer in the American Athletic Conference and Conference USA.

As a coach, Graham brings a technical, athlete-centered approach focused on proper mechanics, strength development, and competition readiness. She works with athletes at various stages of development, helping them build strong technical foundations while progressing toward peak performance. Her coaching emphasizes discipline, confidence, and consistency—key components in developing successful throwers.

In addition to her athletic background, Graham brings extensive experience in youth development, mentorship, and program leadership. She is deeply committed to helping athletes reach their full potential while preparing them for success at the high school, collegiate, and beyond.

Graham’s combination of NCAA Division I competitive experience, All-American achievement, and leadership makes her a valuable asset to any throws program.

Charvin Graham

Throws

Coach Graham is a former NCAA Division I throws athlete at the University of South Florida (USF) and a multi-time NJCAA All-American with elite-level experience in the discus, hammer throw, shot put, and weight throw. His background competing at both the national junior college and Division I levels provides him with a comprehensive understanding of the technical, physical, and mental demands required to develop high-performing throwers.

Prior to USF, Coach Graham competed at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas, where he earned Coaches Association All-American honors and achieved NJCAA All-American status in the weight throw after placing third at the NJCAA Indoor National Championships. He also placed seventh nationally in both the discus and hammer throw at the NJCAA Outdoor National Championships, establishing himself among the top junior college throwers in the country.

While competing at USF, Coach Graham recorded a discus throw of 166-08 (50.81m), ranking among the top marks in program history. He earned multiple top finishes at the American Athletic Conference Championships, including sixth place in the weight throw and discus, and seventh place in the hammer throw, where he recorded a personal-best mark of 181-01 (55.20m).

As a coach, Coach Graham brings high-level technical expertise and a strong focus on fundamentals, progression, and competition readiness. He specializes in developing athletes across all throwing events and works to build proper mechanics, strength, and confidence to help athletes reach their full potential. His coaching approach emphasizes discipline, consistency, and long-term athlete development, preparing throwers to compete successfully at the high school, collegiate, and beyond.

Coach Graham is committed to mentoring athletes and helping them grow both in performance and confidence through structured, high-quality throws training.
